A game-changing system for helping you organize
the heavy load that is the work of home and family.
Gender equity is at the centre. It recognizes that every family’s “fair” looks different and guides you to find what works for your family unit. It helps us unlearn old ways that aren't working and reframe our approach to the division of labor in our homes.
Eve Rodsky, Fair Play Founder, is a Harvard-trained lawyer, mom of three and expert in organization management and the gendered division of labor. Her book, based on her own journey in achieving gender equity at home is a New York Times best-selling, life-changing system I will teach you to use.
"[Fair Play] changes the conversation by starting the conversation. It makes the invisible visible and then gives you a system to change the game."
-Eve Rodsky, Fair Play Founder
The work of home and family has for too long been perceived as women’s work. Study after study confirms it - women carry the bulk of the load of home and care work. If we are to see equity in the home for our children’s generation – equity anywhere, for that matter - we need to start modeling it now.
So much of the exhaustion related to the work of home and family comes not just from the tasks themselves, but from the weight of the mental load. From feeling the unfair burden of inequity. From this unpaid, yet meaningful work feeling not valued. It’s too much to expect women to do most of this work, and to champion the difficult conversations with partners and children necessary to balance the weight.
This is where I come in. Through my coaching services, I can help you and your family navigate these conversations.
