Home

A precious, sometimes complicated space, sheltering folks bonded by family ties and shared experiences. The place we belong, wrapped in love, oozing with responsibilities.

Where we do the work of our humanity.

Studies show that women are carrying more of the unpaid, often invisible work of home and family than ever before. The inequity and mental load are exhausting, impacting women's health, careers, and relationships.

We are battling societal paradigms built on the notion that women are inherently better caregivers and more suited to perform the tasks of housework, child-rearing, and household planning. Research shows, however, that there is no neurological advantage between genders as it relates to caregiving.

Not only are men wonderfully capable contributors to the work of home and family, but

research indicates that children whose fathers do over 40% of the childcare tend to

have better cognitive development, fewer behavioral problems, and healthier

relationships (Eve Rodsky, Fair Play Life).

What’s missing is a reliable system to enable and ensure a division of labor that feels FAIR.  The steps to include the whole family in the work that makes home a safe, loving, healthy place for all.

This is what I offer.

A method for discussion, alignment and execution around home tasks that feels right for your family. Shared. Fair. Founded in care.
